How Trailblazer Connect came to life
In May of 2019, Salesforce committed to this mission by signing a pledge to skill up 1 million American workers over the following 5 years. We promised to help you, and others like you, earn Salesforce credentials and get top jobs via the Salesforce ecosystem.
That’s also when we announced the launch of Trailblazer Connect, a program that focuses on providing direct pathways to success for anyone wanting to find their dream career.
At the 2019 TDX Salesforce Developer Conference, we gave attendees a sneak peek at this brand new program. Since then, 93,000 job seekers have used Trailblazer Connect to navigate the ecosystem, refine their soft skills, and connect to employment opportunities.
Trailblazer Connect is built on four key pillars: Salesforce Fundamentals, Trailblazer Mentorship, Workforce Development Partner Program, and Trailblazer Connect Career Fairs and events. We partner with the Salesforce Talent Alliance, a program where employers commit to inclusive hiring practices and devote at least 20% of their annual hiring to net new Salesforce professionals.

Salesforce Fundamentals is a guided program with weekly Trailhead assignments and a weekly classroom session taught by volunteers in the Trailblazer Community.

Find a training program that meets your goals
In 2021, we launched our Workforce Development Partner Program to help support our community organizations and higher education institutions teaching Salesforce.
Through these programs, eligible participants can learn Salesforce skills and earn their first Salesforce credential. Many of these programs are available at no cost to participants. Salesforce provides classroom materials and gives priority career event access to program participants.
Meet your future employer at a Career Fair
Career fairs have pivoted to virtual in the new digital world and are a great way to bring job seekers and employers together. Trailblazer Connect makes these fairs available to everyone and provides free networking opportunities with a wide range of employers within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Trailblazer Connect Career Fairs sprang to life at TrailheaDX19. This first event brought nearly 400 job seekers and students in contact with 68 recruiters from 25 companies, including Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, and PwC. These companies were looking to fill more than 2,200 jobs!
We’ve since hosted six additional in-person events, with more than 1,000 job seekers just like you in attendance. And our Career Fairs have thrived even in the midst of the pandemic. Last year, we hosted 18 virtual events, connecting more than 7,000 job seekers with 230 employers that participate in the Salesforce Talent Alliance. Going virtual helped broaden the reach of our Career Fairs to a global audience without the need for travel, making them accessible to all.
We know that many Trailblazers also need help with soft skills training and can benefit from recruiter insights, so we offer career webinars and videos with guest speakers who can answer your job search questions.

Find your next employer through the Salesforce Talent Alliance
The Salesforce Talent Alliance connects employers to Salesforce candidates and brings new talent into the ecosystem, building a diverse workforce that reflects society around the globe. Through LinkedIn and our Career Fairs, employers connect to certified candidates across workforce development groups and educational institutions.
In addition, job seekers receive training to become Salesforce-certified professionals and get invited to connect to employers at our career events or through the Talent Alliance LinkedIn group.
